Join us for the 89th Annual Meeting of the Members of the Franklin County Historical Society! This year’s featured program, “Stories from the Zellner Building,” explores the birth, life, and death of a building that anchored the corner of Second and Main in downtown Ottawa for 102 years. FCHS executive director Diana Staresinic-Deane will present what its construction meant to Ottawa in 1880, the hundreds of businesses that made their home there, and the impact its 1982 collapse had on Ottawa’s downtown. This program is free and open to the public!
